Chelford Surgery is proud to be involved with regular research within primary care, helping to support new pioneering treatments and other research around disease and health.
We are inviting patients to get involved with the Discover Me Study, a national study looking into understanding diseases through analysing health and genetic information.
Patients will receive a text with further information on how to get involved with the study. Please note no information will be shared by the practice to the study team unless patients consent to do so when signing up to the study.
More information on the study can be found on their website below or by emailing the study team.
email: uk@discovermestudy.com

The study involves analysing genetic data on health ancestry which will be shared with patients. This information is connected to information in your health record (similar to the health record you would find on Patient Access or the NHS App) to allow more detailed studies on health diseases, their prevalence and potentially better ways to manage and prevent these diseases.
We hope patients will be interested in getting involved in what could be a pioneering study in transforming healthcare.
