Chelford surgery now routinely uses accuRx to contact our patients via SMS (text) messaging to valid mobile phone numbers. If you have given us a mobile phone number this may be used to contact you. The information provided with an SMS message is the same as would be detailed in any written correspondence from us so this could be;
- Test results
- Message to call the surgery to book an appointment with a doctor or nurse
- Appointment details
- Message to call the surgery to arrange a blood test
- Health reminders (e.g Smear tests, diabetes review, etc)
Please ensure we have the correct mobile telephone number for you. As per our privacy policy, please let us know if you would not like to be contacted via SMS message and we will remove your mobile number from our records. For further details please see our privacy policy located under patient services section under patient confidentiality.
