About the practice

Medical services have been provided from Elmstead Road since 1983. The ethos is the welfare of our patients and the provision of the best possible medical care.

Our purpose is to provide people registered with the practice with the personal health care of high quality and to seek continuous improvement in the health status of the practice in an effective and friendly environment for patients and their relatives. We aim to achieve this by developing and maintaining a happy, sound practice which is responsive to people’s needs and expectations and which reflects whenever possible the latest advances in primary health care. To achieve this requires mutual trust and respect between patients and staff. We ask for your help in achieving this and that you tell us if ever you feel that this relationship is not being achieved.

If you would like to speak to a member of staff and or health professional in confidence, please ask at reception and every effort will be made to provide a private room.

Chelford Surgery also provides primary care services to David Lewis Medical Practice. This is a specialist service patient list operating a closed list for patients resident at the David Lewis site only. Information about this can be found under the David Lewis Medical Practice tab. 

Named GP

Each patient is assigned a named GP on registering at the practice. Please note that you are able to see any Doctor for an appointment.
